New study reveals indoor cannabis production is harmful to the environment | Your Morning

CTV’s Dan Riskin explains why, and discusses the changes that could be made to help reduce emissions.

  1. I have grown indoors and outdoors in California. Outdoor buds aren’t as big as indoor buds can be under the right lights. They could do the first stage indoors (veg stage) because they only need low watt lights, then they could bring plants into a greenhouse and use the sun to flower. That would be wise. Alternatively, get solar panels. Alternatively, change the power grid.

You sort of buried the lead. I don’t think the story was about growing medicine causing harm to the environment. It was about the power grid causing anything plugged into it harming the environment.
