  2. Academia is a nightmare – I finally left in 2018 because I couldn’t stomach the corruption and the complete oppression of critical thinking in favor of agendas. Was an art professor and departmental advisor at a major u i versify on the east coast. It was absolutely appalling. I didn’t teach this way, and I tried to express to students the possibility that they can also be manipulated by faculty, and other agendas within any institution. And to be sure to run any opinion or fact being taught to them, against their own internal b.s. meter. I did not specify any idea, or belief in particular, just the principle. And also to notice trends within their own individual classes, and which students are praised, and for what, and if the trend supports a specific opinion or perspective, over any other. Then I said adios. The kids were great. The administrations were terrible. And the faculty were elitist and shamefully ignorant, in my opinion.

  3. I was captivated for the whole conversation. This reminded me of great intellectual conversation that Jordon Peterson would engage with. Great job to both of you for the conversation and honestly.
