How does anesthesia work? – Steven Zheng

When under anesthesia, you can’t move, form memories, or — hopefully — feel pain. And while it might just seem like you are asleep for that time, you actually …

  1. Had surgery 2 days ago and going under was such a fun feeling.
They gave me the “laughing gas” first and it feels like you float into this bright light and…..DARKNESS.
    Then you’re up.
Best sleep you’ll have in a while LOL

  2. When I had to get surgery on my shattered arm they gave me a small cup of liquid that I drank and after I drank it I was out in 3-5 minutes. Any idea what they gave me? It would be nice to know.

  3. Getting a cure for HIV is a powerful concept, often spoken of the HOLY GRAIL of HIV research. Although effective anti-HIV drugs have transformed HIV into a chronic manageable condition you live with rather than die from- taking life-long therapy is a very different proposition to being definitively cured. I put it to the whole human race that there is an affordable , scalable HIV cure that worked as well as would put the global eradication of new HIV infections within reach, while also transforming the lives of those now living with the virus. given the effectiveness of this drugs in both treating and preventing HIV infection, I will say to everyone reading this , that I'm a living witness to it. unlike fraudsters and online scammers who will play you and leave you frustrated with lose of money and hope, this drugs cost less and it is worth a try. if you are interested in getting cured of your HIV, and all kinds of cancer and other deadly diseases Below is the communication link of the doctor who has the new medicine which I took that got me cured totally. Doctor Harvey.

  4. What they don't tell you: nitrous oxide or laughing gas kills your vitamin B 12 levels and can cause PARALYSIS and even DEATH if your levels are very low anyway… No they never tell you this as they DON'T CARE.!

  5. Got laparoscopic appendectomy done recently, it went very smoothly!! They were preparing for the surgery, I was lying on the bed seeing all those bp monitors and all I remember was a nurse slapping my face to wake me up!! Glad I am living in this century…

  6. They used propofol on me. They said, "OK, good night". I said, "don't you want me to count backwards or anything?" She said, "It doesn't matter what you do, you are going nighty night". So I tried to see how long I could stay awake. About three seconds later, I woke up in another room and they said, "all done." Man, that stuff works great!

  7. I felt like I was in a movie the doctors were above me they moved so quickly put the thing on my mouth and I just wake up to a slight burning sensation on stomach I felt so numb and my vision was blurry hearing echoes of my parents wondering if I could hear them

  8. General Anaesthetic is sort of like a very controlled short term drug induced coma. You don't dream or anything. When you wake up, you might know that time has passed, but its like you just weren't present when it was

  9. Got my surgery today for my wisdom tooth extraction, first I was so afraid and nervous but it turns out well and painless because of the anesthesia, the only pain I felt is when they injected the anesthesia to me and the fact that the girl I like didn't like me back
