Yes it will cause a positive for THC if taken regularly everyday and in enough quantities. The only way to know is to test yourself to see what your THC levels are at while taking CBD.
I am a government employee and recently tested positive for “marijuana” according to the letter my admin gave me. I have been in contact with hemp balm that contained CBD and oil that I that I have inadvertently been consuming in pre-made green smoothies. I have not smoked THC. The products used I believe are from reputable companies, Charlotte’s Web and Octagon Biolabs. I am in admin duties until this gets cleared up. So, research brain on. This article in the NYT "CBD or THC? Common Drug Test Can’t Tell the Difference" points out to numerous false positives for THC in due to a specific method of testing. Specifically gas-chromatography mass-spectrometry, or GC-MS, that uses trifluoroacetic anhydride, or TFAA as chemical agent in the process of derivatization. The flaw is backed up by this study (Production of Identical Retention Times and Mass Spectra for Δ9-Tetrahydrocannabinol and Cannabidiol Following Derivatization with Trifluoracetic Anhydride with 1,1,1,3,3,3-Hexafluoroisopropanol) in the Journal of Analytical Toxicology. Point is, it is possible that your CBD is being interpreted as THC and the lab is providing false or misleading info to whomever ordered the test. There are lawsuits pending over this. Labcorp currently has test number 701907: Cannabidiol (CBD)/Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) Ratio, Urine, to “To assist in distinguishing whether a positive urine THC test is exclusively the result of CBD use.” I believe this is a fairly new test that not many people know about. I don’t know the cost but there is more info here. It uses Liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS-MS) as its methodology. Point is, it is available. I hope this info helps you if you get in this sort of bind or help someone you know. Please feel free to share, copy/ paste this anywhere that it might be of help. Post it everywhere!
This was great, I've been looking for "cbd plateau" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried – Tenayce Unconventional Transcendence – (search on google ) ? It is a good one off product for discovering how to get rid of pain using CBD cream without the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my m8 got great results with it.
There’s pain relief and physiological relief out there for a better quality of life and people are being railroaded better yet punished for legal consumption of a plant? What is wrong here???
i just failed a test for work due to eating full spectrum cbd gummies one time. I got high so there forsure was enough thc in them and failed my drug test for a new job. I wish I looked into it more before eating them.
Unfortunately, there is at least 1 test that can't tell the difference between THC and CBD. In gas chromatography, part of the process involves adding a solution to the samples. A very common solution makes it near impossible to distinguish the molecules apart.
Since hemp is federally legal as long as its .3% or less THC shouldn’t the cutoffs for THC in drug tests be changed? These people are consuming a federally legal product and being fired from their jobs for doing so!
We need canabis To just straight up be federally legal
I just failed a drug test because I used CBD drops and vape. There is THC in all of these products. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
I just failed for THC using CBD from a pharmacy. You will fail a urine test, probably not a hair follicle test

Since CBD is federally legal, SO then, it's time to start a MAJOR LAWSUIT against employers for such stringent testing.
0:43 fucked a drug test
