1. Nonsense… If I partake in cannabis and proclaim the christ of the gospel, and thru the partaking of cannabis I'm In a medicinal state, separate from my Daily chaos that I choose not to have Daily pharmaceuticals to combat all the world throws at me(the fallen world that is) and in this state of mind I can read YHWH's word and in that know that the creator of everything is talking specifically to me…. Who is any one to disqualify my encounter there and also my relationship with the elohim of all? When it's total in its revalation of YHWH and his word for confirmation…….? Please explain someone…. To me its limiting God.
And YHWH has taken me and renewed me over time and in bits… And in the future I'm sure il be instructed by the Holy spirit that my time has been and gone with this wondrously brilliant plant of God because its no accident this plant definitely as its only been a blessing to me and I consider it a tool for who ever God calls via and thru the cannabis sub culture… Amen to all..come Lord yeshua….

  2. I smoke and for years I struggled with the notion of am I going against the Lord in this? I love scripture and I have an amazing relationship with Christ Jesus, not cause I smoke but in the fact that I believe the gospel and put my trust in Christ my savior. I keep it to myself and in no way would I promote smoking but on the other hand I don't understand why people think that just cause you smoke you can't serve God or you are not sober. I smoke in moderation and I do it cause I like it and I'm not hurting anyone in doing it. It has never made me see things that aren't there or has it made me do things that went against my better judgement. I have prayed about it and come to the conclusion that if I'm not hurting anyone, not promoting it and it's not going against my faith then why is it so condemned by most christians? I think that most christians that preach on what others are doing in this regard are either not trusting in the finished work of Christ on the cross, or are just looking to have people in a guilt trip cause they don't agree or like it. All the verses they go to are taken out of context or grossly misinterpreted. God made canibis, and yes it is stronger but it's just mixing straines to make a new straines. You don't add anything or take away from it. It's pure and we should not feel that something that has nothing to do with living a life grounded in the gospel and totally dependant on Jesus Christ for salvation. I see a lot of preachers on the internet that condemn people for this or that and never get to the gospel it's all about how good you live or what you don't do that makes you saved. That's work based salvation and will get you in big trouble and is dangerous in the fact that your not totally depending on Christ for salvation. There are plenty of sinner's out there that are going to miss out on life eternal cause of the condemning street preachers that are pushing people away or makeing them think that they have to be perfect for Jesus to accept them. This just is not so, read your Bible and ask God thru the holy Spirit to help you understand what the Gospel is and how it alone is saving you. Let it be known that all that are depending on a works based salvation are playing with death and this will never set you free only the blood of Christ Jesus can make you white as snow. Only Jesus Christ can save you not what you start or stop doing. Trust in the way the truth and the life. God bless

  3. The Bible never mentions smoking weed and many fool themselves that way. The inconvenient truth is we're clearly commanded to abstain from drunkennes, to be sober minded and vigilant that we can may be able to stand against the attacks of the devil (Luke 21:34, Romans 13:13, 1 Peter 5:8, 1 Thessalonians 5:6-8, 1 Timothy 3:2, Titus 1:8, 2:2, 2:6, 2:12 etc). To be under the influence of cannabis is to break that commandment. Also consider how for thousands of years it has been used by occult practitioners all over the world in their rituals and magick. These things open doorways for demons. I speak from experience. Why do you think the word for sorcery/ witchcraft in New Testament Greek is 'pharmakeia', from which we derive the modern term 'pharmacy'. Do not be deceived.

We're warned in no uncertain terms that if we choose to practice such things then we will not inherit the Kingdom of God (Galatians 5:21). I deceived myself for many years as a weed-smoking Christian and thank God in Christ Jesus for setting me free from that bondage. It's only by His power that I was set free. If anyone is struggling, please know that you need only lay it before The Lord and ask for the will and the way to set aside that sin. It may take some time because He won't force you and is not deceived by healf-hearted prayers. Be honest- if you don't want to quit (and there is always a part of us that doesn't want to) then pray for that to be changed. God is rich in mercy and gives good gifts to those who ask for them.

Praise be to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for giving us the victory over sin and death!

  4. I've been a Christian for all my life and I smoke weed, I don't believe smoking weed is a sin because God created every seed bearing plant on this earth including marijuana, it's not man-made, its God-made and saying marijuana is a drug is basically saying God made a drug… IT'S A MEDICINE. 🌱😇#DONT LISTEN TO SOCIETY#

  5. See the problem here isn't the PLANT…..and it isnt the fact that it gets you HIGH completely, the problem is the the part where you use this plant incorrectly, Smoking weed is harmful to your lungs because your putting smoke and sometimes other chemicals into your body which is a TEMPLE of GOD, if marijuanna is helpimg you with anxiety and other issues use it accordingly… its your intent behind it…..and ask your self are you using it as medicine….. or are you NOT practicing self-control ??

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

    1 Corinthians 3:16-17

    King James Version

16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

    Scripture on Self-Control

    Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

    Self Control.

  6. I have to testify that the strongest opioids were failing me as an intractable pain patient and I was in a pretty hopeless spot. Yet with God and cannabis I’ve been completely opioid free going on a year in a state where I’m still a criminal even with doctors approval. Praise be to an amazing God that made a plant that grows like a weed and is capable of easing the worst physical suffering on this earth.

  7. My church has something called The Word of Wisdom which prohibits addictive substances tea and coffee under the church's guidelines marijuana is okay as long as it's under a doctor's prescription and taking as prescribed

  8. This really bugs me, like bugs ! I love God with all my heart and soul but from time to time I like to unwind and smoke a little weed. I feel like the conflict between weed and Christianity is the same as homosexuality and Christianity. The Bible never bluntly says that it’s wrong so people who have corrupted intentions make sense of the Bible that leans in their favor, just like white people editing the Bible to say obey your slave masters as if God would condone murder, torture and slavery. There are so many terrible things a person could do besides smoking weed, as long as you don’t get addicted to it I feel like using weed should be fine ! 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’m only 19, why can’t I have a fun like and still be saved

  9. There seems to be a lot of conflict on this issue among Christians. I too have felt a bit conflicted over this issue. My question is – why do we have cannabanoid receptors in our brain that are only activated by THC? There has to be a reason. Is this part of our corruption or do they serve a purpose?

  10. It’s not a hallucinogenic it does not make you hallucinate, It makes you happier and people with depression or anxiety or even cancer they need it marijuana helps with a lot of diseases you guys need to be more open minded, Marijuana is a medicine not A drug it had saved lives, You just need to be responsible when you use it and, CBD on the other hand does not produce thc it just helps With joint and muscle pain. And look at the ingredients for healing oil in the Bible.

  11. I agree that smoking pot is a sin if you are doing it to get high but some people only smoke it because they have bad nerves and it's the only thing that calms them down. I know a guy right now, he is a Christian and he tells me he only smokes a little tiny bit of it to calm down so he deal with life better. I'm not trying to make excuses for why it's okay to smoke pot, I don't even like it. But this man and his whole family said he needs it, because when he doesn't smoke he is a serious trainwreck and hes even tried to quit smoking because hes trying to serve God and be a good Christian but it's just not working. But like his family tells him, he needs it because it's only thing that helps him and ontop of that he just lost his wife so now his nerves are really shot. Just like my cousin said, we are all only human and we can't help the way we are, and God has got to understand that.

  12. Lol, the strongest marijuana I've ever smoked has never given me hallucinations. I've smoked for 30 years and have never had an hallucination! What is this guy talking about??? Alcohol messes up my decision making and makes me feel horrible the next day. I can smoke randomly through the day and function just fine and feel amazing the next morning.

  13. The question shouldn't be "Is it ok for a Christian to use Cannabis?"

The question should be "Is it ok for Christianity to challenge the use of Cannabis?"

Not after reading many books on cannabis, and studying the Bible.

God required his priests to smoke cannabis twice a day, every day, in their tabernacles. "Hotboxing"

    Exodus 30

    It cures and prevents cancer.

It causes unhealthy cells to go into apotosis.

It generates empathy, and love for others.

It reduces the effects of nerve damage and trauma, helping diseases like MS.

Your entire body is filled with receptors whose only purpose is "To react with THC", the active ingredient of cannabis, which the human body does not produce on its own. A body full of these sites, existing ONLY to react to cannabis, with no other purpose.

Its practically a vitamin for good health.

  14. Genesis 1.29
Vulgate: And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed: to you it shall be for food.

  15. Hallucinogen? Dude, if you’re going to put a video and try to give a nuanced view of something, at the very least do basic research. Weed is not a hallucinogen. Lol And are you seriously going to sit there and say to me that when you drink wine it’s for the “health benefits”? Give me a break. Drink a kale shake then.

  16. Marijuana is not a hallucinogenic and it does not Cloud your mind like alcohol and it's not instantaneous it's fast but not instantaneous the body produces THC on its own so if I'm smoking for my depression or my pain does God frown on that you need to be more informed when you speak about what you're speaking about

  17. I gotta say since I've been looking for if it is a sin or not I seem to see the same thing that it's a hallucinogenic and I gotta say no it's not bc I've smoked for a long time and never have I ever seen anything now I'm not trying to justify smoking it I'm just seeking my own answers but to claim that it does this or it's an escape is a lie I dont smoke to escape I smoke and let's be honest to get high I like to smoke and chill with my wife and friends but I do not do it in excess I'm searching for the answer and if it is truly a sin it's gone I'm not addicted to it so that's not going to be a problem but if I do not have to get rid of it I dont want to but to pretend you know what weed does bc some of what you said is false.

  18. Hello I am a Christian i smoke marijuana I am not a judge mental Christian here i’m not looking for any religious debates or anything I’m probably going to get a lot of hateful comments for being honest God made marijuana for a reason it’s none of my business how people use it but it’s used in a very positive way to help people for example cancer patients and other general stuff people use it for in a good perspective. I smoke it and I’m a Christian and the reason I smoke because it helps me relax and helps me sleep It helps me focus with the right dosage and there’s other reasons why are used too i use it for medical purposes personally As a Christian I will be bold enough to admit that I do smoke because it really has helped me in my lifetime and I think God every day for it. I support marijuana usage! Godbless you all have a good day

thank you for reading my testimony 🙂

  19. all due respect but this is such an uninformed, narrow-minded viewpoint on cannabis…if you want REAL information on how exactly recreational cannabis will effect your mind, body and soul don't watch a 3 minute video get off your butt and do your homework and talk to people that legitimately know and have experience using cannabis, growing cannabis etc etc what it's effects are and whether or not it may or may not help you become a better, happier more productive member of society…this isn't a black and white issue, it's complex and deserves a respectful WELL INFORMED viewpoint from people that know what they're talking about. again, all due respect..thank you

  20. Your message is that "God said". Can you please provide contact information so I can get in touch with him.
I do not believe you're answers are accurate and I want to hear it directly from him myself.

  21. Considering God created marijuana, he knew that we humans needed to something calm our nerves. Just saying, if God didn't want us to smoke pot, he wouldn't have created it in the first place.

  22. My question is this? If God created all things on earth, did he not also create marijuana? As a matter of fact in the first book of the Bible Genesis. It says he created all herbs and other plant life.

  23. If our bodies are God’s temple, we should respect it in all aspects. We see no examples of Jesus getting high. And if we are to pattern our behavior after Jesus, then we need to protect His temple, which protects us here on earth. Maybe the pot advocates should stop spending money on instant pleasures and and mind altering experiences, and start reading the truth in the Bible and get a heart altering experience instead. Doing that would take true courage! ❤️

  24. I agree with his take on 'recreational use'. However, many cannabis users have severe medical issues and cannabis helps.
You can buy cannabis with low THC/high CBD Etc.
Funny thing is people saying that a Christian shouldn't be indulging in mind altering substances often times have no issue with caffeine, antidepressants or other medicine. How is that Starbucks my brother?

  25. As a WELS Lutheran and a pot smoker, it is fairly obvious your opinion does not come from a position of knowledge with regard to the effects of pot on a person. You have swallowed the "party line" as to how it effects a person. It is wholly possible to enjoy pot in a fashion that is in keeping with God's word. You describe pot as a hallucinogenic substance. In 30 years of pot use I have never hallucinated. I highly suggest you gain more pertinent knowledge and reevaluate this video.

  26. The current issue of Readers' Digest has an excellent article on this subject with regard to its' long term effects on the brain, especially teens. It is entitled, "The Medical Case Against Kids Smoking Pot." There are consequential medical reasons to avoid THC. And why would we want to permanently damage the "temple of the Holy Spirit" for a temporary high?
