Microdosing cannabis is making some serious noise in the Medical Cannabis world. In a nutshell, microdosing is the act of using the least amount of product possible for maximum effects and benefits.
According to an article on Leafly.com, ” Practitioners of microdosing are taking small amounts of cannabis in order to reap the medical benefits of THC while avoiding its psychoactive effects that can interfere with the demands of daily life.”
As I was doing my research I discovered that not many people are aware that microdosing cannabis is even a thing, which is to be expected since it’s still federally classified as a schedule 1 narcotic and we still talk about it in whispers.
Experts say that starting with the very minimum amount of cannabis when microdosing is key. Ideally, microdosers stay under 2mg per microdose. A lot of cannabis microdosers I talk to say that they have the best success microdosing with edibles because they are easier to measure. Regardless of how you are consuming your cannabis, it’s so very important for you to track it as well.

Something else to keep in mind when microdosing, is that cannabis in large quantities can have the opposite effect you are looking for. For example, using cannabis for anxiety is very common, but how many people are actually over-consuming and causing themselves more anxiety? Probably a lot. That’s why it’s so important to spread the positive effects of Microdosing Cannabis!
